Since 1988 Ronnie Mack has marshalled forward the Los Angeles roots and alt.country scene with his once-a-month Ronnie Mack's Barn Dance. Filmed in 2003, this Jim Hollander documentary features performances and interviews with Dwight Yoakam, Dave Alvin, Rosie Flores, Big Sandy, James Intveld, Mike Stinson and more. The artists' affection for Ronnie Mack is evident as they speak of his tireless efforts promoting the local roots scene solely for the love of the music. Mack is one of those figures who is already part of local legend. Hollander's documentary preserves the story for future generations of roots music lovers.

OLD CALIFORNIO
A few years ago, Old Californio self-released their debut album, Along The Cosmic Grass. It was an effortlessly charming album, clearly grounded in a quintessentially West Coast California musical tradition that combines the very best in folk and rock and country. Alas, too few actually got the chance to hear that album, even as the band were drawing relatively large crowds to their frequent L.A. area gigs. Sometimes the best things just go unheard, unless you're lucky enough to stumble across it.

Western swing meets cowboy boogie for all barn dance, back yard party, hoe down, old time swing, Rock a Billy and Bakersfield needs. MIKE DAY
Mike Day is a native of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and took up guitar at the age of 12 and broke in as a bass player with bands in and around Pittsburgh, PA during the 60s. Moving on to traditional country, he has played in and fronted many bands in the Los Angeles area. His current band, Sound Barn, released their first studio CD July 4, 2011 titled Lookin Back which includes 3 Mike Day originals. The band has grown to include fiddle and steel guitar and continues to play traditional country in the honky tonk style.

The nation’s premiere Americana band. In business for over 20 years they have 7 CDs in release including compilations featuring Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Gene Autry and others. Live performances include celebrity receptions for Charlton Heston, Hank Azaria, Herb Jeffries and others. Appearances at major museums including Autry Museum of Western Heritage, Rex Allen Arizona Cowboy Museum, Drum Barracks Civil War Museum, William S. Hart Ranch and Museum, Mentryville Historic Village, Calico Ghost Town, Fort Tejon Park.

Based out of Fullerton, CA. Mix a little dash of Honky tonk and add a shot of Rockabilly. The Midnight Boys are a honky tonk band at heart. They are performing all original songs that the band wrote together. Take some honky tonk, a little rockabilly, blues and you got "The Midnight Boys". Band members include Tom Plante: Singer, songwriter upright bass; Scott McLean: Guitar man, back up vocals; Will Lewellyn: Rhythm guitar man; Buddy Dughi: Steel guitar man; Jill Phife: snare.
